Sin creates real guilt before a just God. Fame, generosity, talent, religious ancestry, and moral effort cannot remove it.
The good news is what Jesus Christ has done. God the Son became man, lived the sinless life we have not lived, died on the cross for sinners, was buried, and rose bodily from the dead. He took the judgment sin deserves and offers forgiveness and eternal life as a gift. We are saved by grace through faith, not by works.
To become a Christian is not simply to admire Jesus or call oneself spiritual. It is to repent, turning from sin, and trust in Jesus Christ alone as Savior and Lord. That invitation belongs to every person, famous or unknown. A careful article about a celebrity’s beliefs should eventually lead us to the more important question: what is your response to the risen Christ?
