What Is Bad Bunny’s Religion? Is Bad Bunny Christian?

What Bad Bunny has said about faith

“God is everywhere, so why do I need to go to church?” - Source

“I don’t pray, but my family does it for me.” - Source

“Before I say thanks to God, I’m going to say ICE out.” - Source

In recent interviews Bad Bunny has said that he believes God exists but doesn’t see the need for church, and he admits he doesn’t personally pray. During the 2026 Grammy Awards he even thanked God after making a political statement. These quotes show that he is aware of God yet prefers spirituality on his own terms.

Quick facts about Bad Bunny

  • His birth name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio. He was born on March 10, 1994, in San Juan, Puerto Rico and grew up in the municipality of Vega Baja.
  • Before fame he worked as a supermarket bagger while studying at the University of Puerto Rico at Arecibo and uploading songs to SoundCloud.
  • He helped bring reggaeton and Latin trap to mainstream audiences with hits like “Soy Peor,” “I Like It” and “Mía”.
  • His stage name “Bad Bunny” came from a childhood photo of him dressed as a rabbit with a grumpy face.

Does that make Bad Bunny a Christian?

He acknowledges God’s existence and even thanks Him at award shows, but does an occasional shout out or family prayers make someone a Christian? Nope. Saying God is everywhere doesn’t automatically mean you’ve repented and trusted Christ. Not attending church or praying by yourself doesn’t equal a relationship with Jesus. Christianity isn’t cultural spirituality, it’s turning from sin and trusting in Christ.

What the Bible says

God’s omnipresence is real. King David said there’s nowhere we can flee from His Spirit (Psalm 139:7-10). Yet Scripture also instructs believers not to neglect gathering together (Hebrews 10:25), because Christians need the encouragement and accountability of a local church.

Prayer is not a ritual for grandparents to handle on our behalf, it’s a command for all believers. The apostle Paul wrote “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and invited us to “draw near with confidence to the throne of grace” (Hebrews 4:16). Relying on someone else’s prayers while refusing to speak to God shows a heart still far from Him.

Giving thanks to God publicly is good (1 Thessalonians 5:18), but God also requires humility and repentance. Jesus told a parable of a man who boasted before God and went home condemned, while a sinner who cried for mercy was forgiven (Luke 18:9-14). The gospel calls us to trust in Christ’s finished work, not in our own activism or fame.

The Ten Commandments test

Have you ever told a lie? Ever stolen anything, even something small? Have you used God’s name carelessly? Jesus said that looking with lust is adultery in the heart (Matthew 5:27-28). God’s Law exposes us all, famous or not, as lawbreakers. We cannot claim perfection.

The gospel, plain and clear

The Bible teaches that God is holy and just. All of us have sinned and fallen short of His glory (Romans 3:23). The penalty for sin is death (Romans 6:23), but God demonstrated His love by sending Jesus Christ. Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross for sinners and rose again. Salvation is a free gift received by grace through faith, not by works (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9-13).

Pray for Bad Bunny

If you’re a Christian, pray for Bad Bunny. Pray that he will come to know the grace of Christ personally, that he will hunger for God’s Word, and that he will find solid believers who will point him toward repentance and faith. Pray for humility, wisdom and courage to stand for truth.

If you are not a Christian

God offers forgiveness to anyone who will turn from sin and trust in Jesus. You can pray something like this: “Lord, I know I’ve broken your commandments and I deserve judgment. But I believe Jesus died and rose again for me. Please forgive me, change my heart and help me follow You.” The prayer itself doesn’t save, Christ does. Read the Gospel of John and ask God to show you the truth.

Donald Trump

What Is Donald Trump’s Religion? Is Donald Trump Christian?

Is Donald Trump a Christian? Donald Trump states that he’s a Presbyterian who began going to church as a child. He attended the First Presbyterian Church in Queens, NY. Does that make Donald Trump a Christian? Nope.

Donald Trump stated that he wants to protect Christianity in a speech given at Liberty University just before quoting a verse from what he calls “Two Corinthians”. Does the fact that Donald Trump quoted a Bible or says he wants to protect Christianity mean that Donald Trump is a Christian? Nope.

Does the fact that he mis-pronounced 2 Corinthians as “Two Corinthians” mean that Donald Trump is Not a Christian? Nope.

"Do you know what my [favorite book] is?” Donald Trump asked the crowd. “The Bible! Nothing beats the Bible." If his favorite book is the Bible, does that mean that Donald Trump is saved? Nope.

Some have insinuated that because he wants to build a wall on the southern border of America that Donald Trump is not a Christian. Is it possible for someone to be a Christian and also agree with Donald Trump about the need for border security? Yep.

Donald Trump asked “Why do I have to repent, why do I have to ask for forgiveness if [I’m] not making mistakes?” The answer: You don’t.

If a lie has never been uttered, written, or tweeted by Donald Trump, then he doesn’t have to ask God for forgiveness for being a liar. Because if he hasn’t lied, then he did not violate the 9th of God’s 10 Commandments which says “You shall not bear false witness”, in essence, you shall not lie.

Since Donald Trump is so filthy rich, it’s possible he has never stolen anything in all seventy years of his life. In that case, he doesn’t need to ask God for forgiveness for stealing. Because if he hasn’t stolen, then he hasn’t broken the 8th commandment which is “You shall not steal”.

I don’t know the circumstances surrounding the multiple marriages of Donald Trump, but the Bible gives at least two reasons why his divorces could have been allowed. If his wife was unfaithful to him, or if she died, then Donald Trump has ‘biblical grounds’ for divorce and re-marriage (or at least divorce).

The seventh of God’s 10 Commandments speaks about adultery. Jesus said “You have heard that it was said, ‘YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY’; but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If Donald Trump has never looked at another woman with Lust, then he doesn’t need to ask God for forgiveness for breaking the 7th Commandment.

If however, like the rest of mankind, he has broken any commandment of God, or done anything against the will of God, then Donald Trump is a sinner. Sin is transgression of the Law. The Bible says in Romans that All Have sinned, and fallen short of God’s Glory… this includes Donald Trump.

The Bible also says that while the wages of sin is death, the free gift of God is eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. It’s great that Donald Trump fully agrees that apologizing is a great thing. And he’s right, you only should do it when you’re in the wrong.

Donald Trump, I say with love, YOU ARE WRONG. You have sinned. I’m no better than you, but you have sinned. You broke the law of God and the punishment will be death and hell. But God demonstrated His love for us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died on the cross, in our place, for our sins.

God commands you to repent. Repent means to stop thinking you’re perfect, sinless, and without blemish. You may be rich, but you’re debt to God will send you to hell. Unless you repent, you will perish.

Is Donald J Trump a Christian? Only two people know this, Him and him. (God and Donald Trump).

Saved by Grace
~ Christian

Christians, Pray for Donald Trump. Learn to share the gospel Biblically here.

Non-Christians. These truths are true for you also. If you’ve sinned, you need forgiveness. If you die in your sins (without receiving forgiveness) then you’ll spend forever in hell.

Elon Musk

What Is Elon Musk’s Religion? Is Elon Musk Christian?

As Elon Musk walked through the bustling streets of Los Angeles, he couldn't help but feel a sense of guilt wash over him. He had everything he could ever want, wealth, fame, and success, but he knew that not everyone was as fortunate.

As he passed a homeless man sitting on the sidewalk, he made the impulsive decision to dig into his pocket and pull out a few bills. He hesitated for a moment, wondering if this small act of kindness would make any difference, but he knew he had to try.

The homeless man looked up at Elon with gratitude in his eyes and thanked him profusely. Elon nodded awkwardly and turned to leave, but the man called out to him.

"Wait, sir," the man said. "I have something I want to share with you."

Elon turned back, curious. The man reached into his pocket and pulled out a small, tattered Bible.

"These are the Ten Commandments," the man said, pointing to a page in the book. "And they show us how to live a good and holy life. But the most important thing is that they show us our need for a savior. We all fall short of God's standards, and we all need to be forgiven of our sins."

Elon listened intently as the man continued to speak, sharing about God's grace and the love of Jesus. He couldn't believe that this homeless man was using the Ten Commandments to share the gospel with him.

As the man finished speaking, Elon was moved to tears. He realized that he had been so focused on his own success and accomplishments that he had neglected his spiritual life. He knelt down on the sidewalk and prayed with the homeless man, asking for forgiveness and placing his trust in Jesus.

As he stood up and walked away, Elon knew that he had received something much greater in return, the gift of salvation and a new relationship with God. He vowed to spend the rest of his life spreading the message of hope and forgiveness to others, just as the homeless man had done for him.

Author Note

This is a fictional story, to my knowledge, about Elon Musk. I wrote it with the help of ChatGPT in order to illustrate how and why the world's current richest man could be forgiven of his sins and begin a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Bill Maher

What Is Bill Maher’s Religion? Is Bill Maher Christian?

What good news it was when Bill Maher became a born-again Christian recently. "I gave [up smoking marihuana] when I got saved" said Bill Maher on his show regarding Prop 19.

It's great that Bill Maher received Gods grace through trusting in Jesus Christ. He must have finally realized that his sins against God were serious and that he needed forgiveness.

Some of the sins that Bill Maher committed against God may include, but might not be limited to:

  • Lying
  • Stealing
  • Lusting
  • Blasphemy
  • Fornication

Just remember that Bill Maher isn't the only person that has sinned against God. So, instead of judging Bill Maher, remember that you too have sinned against God.

Unfortunately Bill Maher was likely joking about becoming a born-again Christian. Keep Bill Maher in your prayers.

We hope that some day he will actually realize that he has sinned against Jesus Christ, and that God would grant him repentance.

Jesus Christ died on the cross for sins. If Bill Maher will recognize his sins before a just and holy God, and trust that Jesus Christ died on the cross for sinners, God will save him. We want Bill Maher to realize this and end up in heaven.

Bill Maher is a very funny person. He has skills that could be used for the glory of God. Be praying for Bill Maher to actually get saved, and become a born-again Christian.

Ariana Grande

What Is Ariana Grande’s Religion? Is Ariana Grande Christian?

Ariana Grande’s faith journey has taken quite a few twists over the years. Growing up in a Catholic family, she regularly attended church with her family. However, things started to change for her as she grew older, and certain experiences influenced her spiritual outlook.

A Few Interesting Facts About Ariana Grande

  • Family Matters: Ariana has always been close with her older brother Frankie. When Frankie, who is openly gay, faced judgment from the Catholic Church for his sexuality, Ariana became disillusioned with the church’s teachings. She mentioned that this was one of the main reasons she distanced herself from Catholicism (World Religion News, Telegraph).
  • Turning to Kabbalah: Around 2013, Ariana found herself drawn to Kabbalah, a mystical branch of Judaism. She felt like Kabbalah aligned more with her values, especially when it came to treating others with kindness and understanding. Ariana credits Kabbalah with helping her navigate the highs and lows of fame and keeping her grounded during tough times (People, Telegraph).
  • Faith in Her Music: Despite no longer identifying as Catholic, Ariana often includes spiritual themes in her music. For example, her song “God is a Woman” explores themes of divinity and empowerment, blending faith and personal strength in her artistic expression (Telegraph, People).

The Difference Between Catholicism and Christianity

Ariana’s break from Catholicism leads to an important question: What’s the difference between Catholicism and Christianity? While both share core beliefs, like faith in Jesus Christ and His resurrection, there are key differences that many Christians point out.

  • Salvation: Christians generally believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith in Jesus (Ephesians 2:8-9). Catholicism, on the other hand, teaches that sacraments and good works are also necessary for salvation.
  • Authority: While most Christians hold that the Bible is the ultimate authority, Catholicism also emphasizes tradition and the authority of the Pope, which can sometimes add teachings beyond Scripture.
  • Veneration of Saints: Many Christians are uncomfortable with the Catholic practice of praying to saints or venerating Mary, believing that Jesus is the sole mediator between God and humanity (1 Timothy 2:5).

Even though the Catholic Church has its differences, it’s important to recognize that some Catholics might have a genuine personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Faith in Jesus alone is what matters most, and it’s possible for someone to identify as Catholic and still hold true Christian beliefs. The Gospel Message for Ariana, and for Us

Ariana’s spiritual journey might seem unique, but in a way, it’s relatable for many of us. Like Ariana, everyone needs God’s grace. The Ten Commandments show us how far we’ve fallen short of God’s standards, whether through lying, stealing, or even looking with lust. These examples help us realize our need for a Savior.

But here’s the good news: Jesus Christ died for sinners. He offers forgiveness and a fresh start to anyone who repents and believes in Him. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about recognizing our need for His grace.

Let’s pray that Ariana, and all of us, come to fully understand God’s love and the grace that’s available through Jesus Christ. As we reflect on her spiritual journey, it’s also a good time to reflect on our own faith and relationship with God.

Britney Spears

Is Britney Spears a Christian?

Britney Spears has had a rollercoaster of a journey when it comes to her faith. Raised as a Southern Baptist, she grew up singing in the church choir and even spoke about her commitment to Christian values early in her career. She famously vowed to stay chaste until marriage and talked about her faith in interviews. However, as her fame exploded, her spiritual path seemed to take a few unexpected turns.

In the mid-2000s, Britney was introduced to Kabbalah, a form of Jewish mysticism, by her friend Madonna. She embraced it for a while, wearing the famous red string bracelet that Kabbalists use as a symbol of spiritual protection. But, by 2006, Britney seemed to drift away from Kabbalah, saying, “my baby is my religion,” hinting at a shift in her spiritual focus toward family life.

Then, in 2021, Britney surprised fans by declaring herself Catholic in an Instagram post, even talking about attending Mass. However, this phase didn’t seem to stick, as she later deleted the post. Her ever-changing faith journey has been hard for people to follow, and it reflects the ups and downs of her personal life.

Most recently, Britney revealed in 2022 that she had lost her faith, even going so far as to say, “There’s nothing to believe in anymore.” This left many of her fans concerned about where she stood spiritually.

Important Facts About Britney’s Faith Journey

  • Southern Baptist beginnings: Britney was raised in a Christian household, actively participating in church life during her youth.
  • Involvement in Kabbalah: She explored spirituality through Kabbalah, influenced by her friendship with Madonna.
  • Catholic Claims: Britney declared herself Catholic in 2021 but hasn’t shown consistent public practice of the faith.
  • Recent doubts: In 2022, Britney admitted she no longer believes in God, reflecting the turbulence in her personal and spiritual life.

The Gospel Message for Britney, and for Us

Just like Britney, we all fall short of God’s perfect standards. Whether it’s through lying, stealing, or even looking with lust, we break God’s law. The Ten Commandments are a reminder of how much we need a Savior, and that’s why Jesus Christ came.

Here’s the good news: no matter how far we’ve strayed, Jesus offers forgiveness. The Bible says, “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). This means that no matter what Britney, or any of us, has done, there’s always hope for redemption through faith in Jesus Christ.

Why We All Need Jesus

  • Lying: Breaking the 9th commandment.
  • Stealing: Even taking something small breaks the 8th commandment.
  • Lusting: Jesus said that even looking at someone with lust is like committing adultery in your heart (Matthew 5:28).

We pray that Britney comes to understand the fullness of God’s love, repents, and accepts the forgiveness Jesus offers. And, while we pray for Britney, let’s also look at our own hearts, because we all need Jesus. None of us are perfect, and that’s why the gospel is such good news, it’s available to everyone, including Britney, including you, and including me. Let’s continue to lift her up in prayer, hoping she finds the peace that only comes through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Jeff Bezos

What Jeff Bezos Can’t Buy

Jeffrey Preston Bezos, or Jeff Bezos, as most of us know him, is the richest man in modern history. I recently read that on a single Thursday, his net worth went up five hundred million dollars. He’s so rich! He can buy absolutely anything, or can he?

Jeff Bezos May have over $150,000,000 to his name, but there’s one thing, and possibly only one thing, he can’t buy. What is it? Let’s back up for a second...

First, to my knowledge, there is nothing wrong with Jeff Bezos being super rich. I’m not aware of him earning his income in any negative or immoral way. He started Amazon from his basement selling books, now he could probably buy each and every product on Amazon.

There’s a verse from the Bible that come to mind when I think of Jeff Bezos, and I hope he’s thought of it too. The book of Proverbs chapter 11, verse 4 states “Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.”

There is no doubt that Jeff Bezos doesn’t have riches, but that won’t help him on the day of wrath... or as other Bible translations say “... the day of judgement.” Jeff Bezos will die, and the Bible also says its appointed once for man to die, and afterwards comes judgement.

Side Note: Don’t think for a minute that I think any ill thoughts of Jeff Bezos. I neither know him, nor do I have anything against him. I am a happy Amazon Prime member, and have been for years. I also don’t presume I’m any better than Jeff Bezos, potentially just better off.

When Jeff Bezos (or you for that matter) finally kicks the bucket he’ll face his maker, God, a righteous, and good judge. Jeff Bezos won’t be judged based on his net worth, or even the good deeds he’s done. Instead, like all other court cases, he’ll have to answer for his crimes.

What crimes? Look to the 10 Commandments found in the Bible’s book of Exodus, chapter 20. Has Jeff Bezos ever told a lie? If so, that’s a violation of the 9th commandment. If Jeff Bezos has ever stolen anything, that’s a violation of the 8th commandment.

The 7th commandment says “You shall not commit adultery, and Jesus Christ said “...everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (See Matthew 5:28). Who of us can honestly say we’ve never looked with lust?

The sixth commandment states “you shall not murder” but, again Jesus magnified that commandment and stated “Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.” (See 1 John 3:15)

I don’t know if Jeff Bezos is a Christian or not. But I do know that when he dies, and faces a just and holy God, he (like me, and everyone else) will be guilty of violating at least some of God’s Law (there’s more than just the 10 Commandments). Violating God’s law is called sin.

The Bible warns that the soul that sins, dies. And the destination for sin is a placed called hell. (All liars will have their part in the lake of fire, the Bible says). That’s not what I want. I want Jeff Bezos to go to heaven when he dies.

Remember that verse “Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.” It states that money won’t help Jeff Bezos when he dies, but what is it that will deliver him from death (Hell)? Righteousness.

We’ve already established that neither Jeff Bezos, nor me, nor you, have righteousness based on our lives. So, what then? The Bible says that God demonstrated His love towards us in that while we were still sinners, Christ suffered and died for us on the cross, to pay the price for our sins. Then God raised Him from grave a few days later!

We broke the laws of God, and Jesus Christ paid our fine. Not only that, but Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life (the opposite of us). If we receive the grace of God through faith in Christ, God not only forgives all our sin, but we are given the righteousness of Christ.

On the day of wrath, or Judgement Day, it won’t be our righteousness that will deliver us from death, and it certainly won’t be riches, but the righteousness of Christ. It’s a free gift of God... no Amazon Prime Membership required.

I pray that Jeff Bezos, if he hasn’t already, would see the love God offers through the suffering death of Jesus Christ and place his faith solely in Jesus for his salvation. That way, Jeff Bezos won’t be headed to heaven because he’s rich, or nice, but because he’s loved and forgiven by God the father.

The Bible also says its hard for a rich man to enter heaven... it’s not because God’s love is any less for the rich man, but rather because a rich man may not even think he needs it. The odds of Jeff Bezos reading this are slim to none, so please be praying for him.

Jim Gaffigan

One of the funniest comics around, in my opinion, is Jim Gaffigan. His mostly clean, family-friendly, comedy routine is a breath of fresh air in a world of vulgar and outright sinful comedians. I’m not sure the motive of Jim Gaffigan for keeping things clean, but I’m appreciative.

When I first saw a Jim Gaffigan stand-up routine, I wondered “Is Jim Gaffigan a Christian?” It would be great if it were the case that Jim Gaffigan was a Christian, I thought. But, the more I’ve seen him, and after seeing that his wife (at least in the Jim Gaffigan show on Comedy Central) is a professing catholic, I realized that there is not a good chance that Jim Gaffigan is a Christian.

You might be saying “maybe Jim Gaffigan is a Christian” since his wife is Catholic, and Catholics are Christians… well, even though I’d like to believe that Jim Gaffigan is a Christian, it’s not true that Catholics are Christians. (Listen to these messages, if you didn’t know that Catholics are Not Christians).

But back to Jim Gaffigan. I pray that Jim Gaffigan will one day become a Christian. The key to Jim Gaffigan becoming a Christian, is the same as it is for everyone else. Just because Jim Gaffigan is a funny celebrity, or well-known comedian, doesn’t change the process of how Jim Gaffigan would become a Christian.

Jim Gaffigan would need to realize that he was a sinner. Most people don’t know that Sin is breaking God’s law. What are God’s Laws? The 10 Commandments. So, the questions Jim Gaffigan would ask himself are this.

  • Has Jim Gaffigan ever told a Lie?
  • Has Jim Gaffigan ever stolen anything?
  • Has Jim Gaffigan ever looked at a woman with lust?

If so, then it would be a true statement to say that Jim Gaffigan is a liar, a thief, and a adulterer at heart. Jesus said that if anyone looks at a woman with lust, he’s committing adultery with that person in their heart. Now, don’t misunderstand me… I’m no better than Jim Gaffigan. The only difference is that I’ve realized that I’m a sinner, and understood the good news of the Gospel.

What’s the good news of the Gospel? Most people know, or at least have heard, that Jesus Christ died on the cross for sinners. The problem is, most people, possibly including Jim Gaffigan, don’t realize that they are sinners. That’s why the first step for Jim Gaffigan or anyone, is to realize that they are sinners.

Then, the good news that most people know makes sense. Once we realize that we are sinners, we understand that Jesus Christ dying on the cross for sinners, means that Jesus Christ died on the cross for Jim Gaffigan and us, if we will repent (turn from our sin, and sinful beliefs), and trust in Jesus Christ as our savior, then God will forgive our sins and grant us the gift of everlasting life (in heaven).

Jim Gaffigan will live forever regardless of if he is a Christian or not… the problem is, Jim Gaffigan (and you) will live forever, and it may be in hell, unless he realizes he’s a sinner, and trusts alone in Christ for his salvation.

Bye the way, I’m not saying that Jim Gaffigan is not a Christian, for I don’t know his heart. Weather Jim Gaffigan is a Christian or not is something that is only known by God and Jim Gaffigan. It’s my prayer that Jim Gaffigan becomes a Christian.

Instead of worrying about Jim Gaffigan, unless you are him… it’s best to think about yourself. If you’re already a Christian, praise God, and pray for Jim Gaffigan that he would understand his need for Jesus’s forgiveness and trust in Him for his salvation.

Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs Religion?

Steve Jobs, Spirituality, and Faith

Steve Jobs is remembered for revolutionizing the tech world with Apple, but many wonder about his spiritual life and beliefs. Raised in a Lutheran family, Steve’s early years showed him questioning traditional faith. As a 13-year-old, Jobs was troubled by images of starving children in a Life magazine and asked his pastor why God would allow such suffering. Dissatisfied with the pastor’s response, Jobs rejected the idea of a God who would allow such pain and suffering in the world .

The Early Years: Leaving Traditional Religion

Though Steve grew up attending church with his adoptive family, his rejection of the faith he was raised in started early. After that pivotal conversation with his pastor, Steve began searching for answers elsewhere. He was drawn to philosophy, spirituality, and eventually Zen Buddhism, which played a major role in his life and work ethic. Jobs practiced meditation and embraced the minimalist approach of Zen, saying that “Buddhism and Zen gave him a sense of stillness and the ability to focus” .

Steve Jobs and Zen Buddhism

During his early adulthood, Jobs traveled to India in 1974 seeking spiritual enlightenment, which further solidified his interest in Eastern religions. He spent time with Buddhist monks and later became a practitioner of Zen Buddhism, even incorporating some of its teachings into the culture at Apple. According to several biographies, Jobs embraced the idea that “different religions are like different doors to the same house,” reflecting his belief that no single religion holds all the answers .

Zen Buddhism shaped his approach to life and work, teaching him to embrace simplicity and focus on the present. Jobs was known for saying that death was the single best motivator in life, and this mindset guided his design philosophy, focusing on what truly matters.

His Reflections on Mortality and God

Near the end of his life, Steve Jobs reflected more openly on his beliefs about God and the afterlife. Despite his embrace of Zen, he acknowledged that he was “50/50” on believing in God. He said he liked to think that something survives after we die but admitted that no one really knows for sure. His fascination with life, death, and what might come next shows that he never fully settled on a single spiritual path, leaving the ultimate question of his faith unanswered .

Sharing the Gospel: Prayers for Steve Jobs’ Salvation

While it’s clear that Steve Jobs’ beliefs were complex and evolving, we as Christians are called to pray for his salvation and the spiritual well-being of others who may not have fully embraced the gospel. The Bible teaches us that faith is not about outward success or enlightenment but about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

As believers, we use the Ten Commandments to help show others their need for salvation. For example:

  • Lying: Have you ever told a lie? Breaking the 9th commandment reveals our need for forgiveness.
  • Stealing: Taking something that doesn’t belong to you violates the 8th commandment.
  • Lusting: Jesus said that even looking at someone with lust is like committing adultery in your heart, breaking the 7th commandment (Matthew 5:28).

These commandments show us that we all fall short of God’s law. The good news is that Jesus died on the cross to save sinners. While we may not know Steve Jobs’ ultimate spiritual stance, we pray that his search for meaning led him closer to the truth of the gospel before his passing.

It’s important to remember that while Steve Jobs left a lasting legacy through Apple and his groundbreaking inventions, what matters most is where his heart stood in relation to God. We encourage all Christians to pray for his family and those inspired by his life, that they may also come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

While we don’t know for sure if Steve Jobs embraced Christianity, his spiritual journey offers a glimpse into a man constantly seeking meaning and truth. Let’s keep his family in our prayers and hope that his quest for answers brought him closer to God’s grace.

This expanded article dives deeper into Steve Jobs’ spiritual journey while maintaining a respectful tone. If you’d like more details or adjustments, feel free to let me know!

Selena Gomez

What Is Selena Gomez’s Religion? Is Selena Gomez Christian?

What Selena Gomez has said about faith

“You already have faith but you have no idea what you have faith in… you are already being pursued by God who knit you together and called you His.” - Source

“You will learn that your truest identity is loved and chosen, as the chosen daughter of God… the Holy Spirit will speak louder than anything that has called for your attention.” - Source

“On your 23rd birthday, Jesus will become real to you… more than a nightly prayer, more than the strength of your friends, more than the name in a devotional, He will become real.” - Source

“I am Christian, and I was very vocal about that at first until people started using it against me. Now I’ve learned to keep it to myself. I don’t think it has anything to do with my job.” - Source

“I’m very, very spiritual. I believe in God, but I’m not religious… I’ve been a Christian for a while now… I love being able to have my faith… that truly is what gets me through.” - Source

From her tearful testimony at Hillsong to interviews and social media comments, Gomez repeatedly affirms that she is a follower of Christ. She speaks of God pursuing her, Jesus becoming real to her, and her identity as a chosen daughter of God. At the same time she distinguishes her relationship with God from “religion” and says she keeps her faith quiet because of public scrutiny.

Quick facts about Selena Gomez

  • Full name: Selena Marie Gomez. She was born on July 22, 1992, in Grand Prairie, Texas.
  • She began acting as a child on Barney & Friends and later starred in Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place.
  • Gomez has released three solo albums that each topped the Billboard 200 and is known for hits like “Lose You to Love Me,” “Good for You” and “Calm Down”.
  • In addition to music and acting she founded the cosmetics brand Rare Beauty and became the first woman to surpass 400 million Instagram followers in March 2023.
  • She married music producer Benny Blanco in September 2025.

Does that make Selena Gomez a Christian?

Gomez’s words point more clearly to biblical Christianity than many celebrities. She speaks of being pursued by God, finding her identity as a beloved daughter, and encountering Jesus personally. Yet she also says she isn’t “religious.” Christianity isn’t about image or superstition, it’s about repentance and faith in Christ. Her testimony suggests she understands that, but only God knows the heart.

What the Bible says

God pursues His people. Jesus said He came to “seek and save the lost” (Luke 19:10). Scripture teaches that those who trust Christ are indeed loved and chosen (Ephesians 1:4-5). A real relationship with Jesus is more than a nightly prayer, it is being born again (John 3:3). The Holy Spirit does speak to believers and guides them into truth (John 16:13). Keeping faith private out of fear may be understandable, but Jesus also warns that denying Him before people is serious (Matthew 10:32-33). Believers are called to be unashamed of the gospel.

The Ten Commandments test

Like all of us, Selena Gomez has sinned. Have you ever lied? Stolen? Used God’s name flippantly? Looked with lust? The Law shows us we cannot earn God’s favor. We need a Savior.

The gospel, plain and clear

God is holy. We have all sinned and fall short of His glory (Romans 3:23). The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). Jesus, fully God and fully man, lived sinlessly, died on the cross for sinners and rose again. By grace you are saved through faith, not by works (Ephesians 2:8-9). Confess Jesus as Lord and believe God raised Him, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-13). In Christ your identity becomes beloved child of God.

Pray for Selena Gomez

If you’re a Christian, pray for Selena. Pray that she continues to grow in grace, stands firm when critics mock her faith, and uses her massive platform to point others to Jesus. Ask God to surround her with wise believers who will encourage and sharpen her.

If you are not a Christian

God pursues you as well. Turn from sin and trust Jesus. You can pray like this: “Father, I know I’ve sinned. I believe Jesus died and rose again. Please forgive me and make me your child.” The prayer doesn’t save, Jesus does. Read the Gospel of John and seek Him.
